Shoe Vendor, Chinatown Complex
Dear You
I am going to put on my own shoes, hang up the pair you got me, and walk away. Your gift was so pretty to the touch and sight; but when they're on me, they bite. All new shoes bite, you say. It's been a year and the shoes still bite. Why do I insist on wearing them still? The scars from the blisters still refuse to go away. And you know what, I realise the scars will never go away.
So, I will.
Please take care. I love you a lot, still.
