So I read and heard that Betrayal was pretty darn good. Wish I could watch it with you dear.
I watched Djinn's Perth - The Geylang Massacre a few weeks back and I came to realise (today, yes, I am slow) that I didn't enjoy it at all.
I hate the stark manner as to all the problems in Singapore are inevitably tied back to Henry Lee, or Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. I abhor the crude language - perhaps local scriptwriters need to have hokkien expletives to fill in for the lack of good dialogues; the irrelevance of sex in the protaganist's life and the cliché backdrop of poor village girls selling their bodies to support their families.
Let;s get more original than this, can we? Hoepfully Be With Me will be better.
